First and foremost, the entire Unibox team would like to say “thank you!” to everyone who visited our stand at RetailEXPO 2019. This year was the 4th time that Unibox has exhibited at RetailEXPO and we are delighted to report that it was our most successful show to date.

The expo is one the largest events within the worlds of interior design, visual merchandising and shop fitting. Taking place annually at London’s Olympia Park, it attracts visitors from all over the world who are in search of the latest and greatest retail solutions currently on the market.

This meant that it was the perfect occasion for us to launch the newest addition to our product range: Konnekt.

And what a launch it was! Attendees from a range of sectors commented on how the retail industry has been “screaming out” for a product like Konnekt and spoke of the exciting opportunities it creates for future collaborations.

This year saw a change in the format of RetailEXPO, with three previously separate shows being consolidated into one event. Whilst these changes left some exhibitors asking questions about potential organisational and practical hiccups, we think that bringing everyone together under one roof was a major improvement because it enabled the team manning our stand to network with a greater number of visitors from a wider array of industries than in previous years!

Nikki Talbot, the Creative Director at Unibox, provided the brains behind the design focus for our 2019 stand.

This year, her approach was to “do less, better”. Following this mantra led us to showcase a smaller selection of our capabilities than at previous exhibitions so that visitors could explore the full range of variations and functionalities offered within a given product.

Commenting on her time at the show, she said that

“…it was fantastic to have had such a positive reaction to the stand design as a whole. That said, the standout product was definitely our newest innovation: Konnekt, as the feedback we gained suggests that it’s going to solve a lot of the challenges that retailers face! Overall, the show has been a success for Unibox and it was a pleasure to chat with so many people, all of whom had such varied requirements and ideas”.
