They’re often the first point of interaction and engagement between a retailer and customers, so getting it right is essential. Mix that in with a tad of seasonality, character and style and you’ve got some of the most dazzling retail displays of 2014. Despite having a lot to live up to after the success of their 2013 ‘Hare and the Bear’ campaign, John Lewis hasn’t disappointed, mastering another genius festive ad campaign.

But it doesn’t stop there: after making the nation fall in love with their little penguin on screen, their store windows now feature a whole line-up of penguins modelling merchandise and causing mayhem!
