Tom Dixon OBE, is a renowned British designer. Having established his own brand under the name ‘Tom Dixon’, and having launched an interior and architectural design and research studio, his impressive client list includes The Royal Academy and Jamie Oliver.
Tom's works have been acquired by museums across the globe, including the Victoria and Albert Museum, Museum of Modern Art New York and Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris.
Working in collaboration with Tom Dixon, Unibox has created a range of stunning, innovative retail display solutions.
The partnership began with Unibox supplying graphic displays, LED lighting, and lightboxes for Tom Dixon’s London store, expanding to the recently launched New York City store.
This involved a collaboration with the Unibox design team, creating custom partitions for café areas, and illuminating the range of designer products on display.
Special anodised finishes were applied to a range of Unibox profiles to create shelving, lighting displays, plinths, showcases and display tables; along with complementary materials such as UV bonded glass shelving and aluminium composite fabrications.
Since then, we have continued to work on Tom’s portfolio of stores, event spaces and experiential spaces.
With a commitment towards innovation and a mission to revive the British furniture industry, the Tom Dixon brand is inspired by the nation’s unique heritage and produces extraordinary objects for everyday use.
The right instore merchandising platforms are vital to help emphasise and complement these unique designs, which were created with expert manufacturing capabilities and cutting edge machinery on-site.
