United Aluminium was incorporated in summer 1990 and initially located in a small office in Wilmslow in Cheshire. The company was a forerunner in the supply of aluminium extrusions from some of the global suppliers that now account for around 40% of the UK aluminium market.
The team expanded and relocated to its current 7000sqm industrial site in 1996. By this time the company not only supplied volume users with aluminium profile but also specialised in the manufacture of extruded aluminium, OEM components, utilising extensive in house fabrication, finishing and assembly facilities.
The company has always endeavoured to be at the forefront of technology and quality and subsequently developed the acclaimed Unibox Modular System of aluminium extrusions, components and accessories. Still a supplier of extruded aluminium parts, most of our UK manufacture is now highly reactive and concentrates on Unibox projects. Extruded aluminium OEM components are now largely produced in conjunction with Eastern European and Far Eastern partners as markets become increasingly competitive.
